Cowboys Raise Gold

February 19, 2024 Charis Ochu

Cowboys Raise Gold is a day set aside for the entire Hardin-Simmons University community to support the institution. On this day of philanthropy and celebration, everyone is encouraged to make donations, regardless of the amount, to support the university’s mission. The goal of Cowboys Raise Gold is not only to raise money but also to emphasize the collective effort and engagement of the community.

February 20, 2024, marks the second annual Cowboys Raise Gold. There are six projects that donors are encouraged to support this year: Equine Therapy, Prichard Hall, Athletics, Nursing Program, Faculty Enrichment, and Behrens Chapel. Dr. Heather Hadlock ’97, Associate Vice President for Engagement and Advancement, shared, “We hope Cowboys Raise Gold will not only provide financial support for HSU but will also foster a sense of pride, loyalty, and commitment among the HSU family.”
