Get to Know HSU at Winter Preview

(Abilene, Texas) Future Cowboys, mark your calendars for the 2017 Winter Preview event on Saturday, February 18 from 8 a.m. – 5 p.m. Winter Preview gives prospective HSU students and their families an opportunity to explore campus, meet the academic deans, and talk with current students, faculty and staff.

The day has been carefully planned to give prospective students and their families ample opportunity to explore all major aspects of HSU and ask any questions they may have about HSU. During Winter Preview, students will learn about HSU’s strong academic tradition, active student life, and caring Christian environment. 

Below is the schedule for Winter Preview:

8:00 a.m. Check-in #1 at the Dyess Welcome Center

8:30 a.m. Campus Tours leaving from Dyess Welcome Center

9:00 a.m. Check- in #2 at the Dyess Welcome Center

9:30 a.m. Welcome to HSU – Johnson Building Multipurpose Room

10:30 a.m. Academic Open House

11:30 a.m. Lunch

1:00 p.m. HSU Cowgirl Basketball Game

3:00 p.m. HSU Cowboy Basketball Game

After lunch and until 2 p.m., preview participants can visit Campus Connection, Residence Halls, the HSU Bookstore, and Gilbert’s Coffee Shop. The winner of the Lights, Camera, Free Ride contest will also be announced during Winter Preview.
