Hardin-Simmons debuts “HSU Stories”
This new section of the website shares the stories of our students, alumni, faculty and staff.
Since the dawn of time humans have been storytellers. We love a good story and understand the values and morals of a story much more than facts or figures. There is a reason Jesus spoke in parables, it’s how God made us, to love and understand each other through story.
The story of Hardin-Simmons is a beautiful one, from its beginning, with a group of Baptist preachers who felt called to establish a college in the wild west, to the people who continue to pour into this university today.
Every person who walks on this campus is shaping, and being shaped, by the Hardin-Simmons story.
Our students, our alumni, our faculty and our staff all have stories to tell. And it’s in hearing those stories that we enrich the overall story of the university.
We have asked for you to share your stories with us, both from your time on campus and where you are now. We believe that the stories of the past 127 years have shaped HSU into the great university that it is today.
We are a family, and we want to know what our family is doing to be the hands and feet of God around the world.
We have begun a section of this new website called “HSU Stories,” in this section we will highlight the stories of our students, alumni, faculty and staff. We welcome you to visit the HSU Stories site to see these wonderful videos, or you can see them when we roll them out over the course of the next few months. Either way, we hope you enjoy them and share your own HSU story with us.
Here’s our first one, we hope you enjoy it…
