Hardin-Simmons University (HSU) is excited to celebrate the continued success and future of the American Southwest Conference (ASC) following the announcement of a 10-year agreement that ensures its stability and growth. With the return of McMurry University and Schreiner University, the ASC has solidified its membership, paving the way for an exciting new chapter in its storied history.

After a year of transition and collaboration among member institutions, HSU is proud to continue competing in the ASC. This agreement represents the shared commitment of member schools to providing an environment that values both athletics and academics while offering exceptional opportunities for student-athletes to grow, compete, and excel.

“We are thrilled to continue our partnership with the American Southwest Conference,” said Dr. John Neese, Associate Vice President for Athletics. “The ASC has been an integral part of our athletics program, fostering a competitive spirit and camaraderie among schools that benefit student-athletes on and off the field. We look forward to building on this strong foundation in the years to come.”

As a proud member of the ASC, HSU looks forward to the future of the conference and the continued success of its student-athletes and teams.
